Driving instructions

Amsterdam is surrouded by a highway: A10 (you will get there anyway).

It has several outlets indicated as S + number + name. You leave at S 112 Duivendrecht.

Then go to the left -> Gooiseweg (direction Centrum).

Roundabout: first to the right -> Wibautstraat.

Underneath the train-viaduct: first to the left -> Marcusstraat, which leads to Weesperzijde.

Go to the right and find a parking-lot in the end, at the rowingclub lot (do not forget to pay),

my house-number 61, is next to the school.

What to do with your car?
Carparking in front of the house (very expensive! 4 euro ph; or whole day ticket).

Not easy, but worth the trouble.

From SCHIPHOL Airport:

A taxi from the Airport Schiphol to my address has a rather fixed price (± 40 Euro).

Or better take a TRAIN to Central Station instead (± 3 euro pp).

Get information about the obliged OV-chipcard for the use of all public transportation.

From Central Station: use the METRO (any direction) and get off at stop 4: WIBAUTSTRAAT (see map below). Take "Gijsbrecht van Aemstelstraat" for an exit and walk that street towards Weesperzijde.

Or take "Grensstraat" for an exit. At your left you see a supermarket (AH). Left from that building is a short street for deliveries. Go into it. At the end go left and directly right. You are in Burmanstraat now. From there it is a 3 minutes walk to Weesperzijde.

How far is the address from centre-city?
A 10 minutes walk along the Amstel river brings you right into the centre: Music- and Opera-
house, Townhall, Mac Bike, Waterlooplein Fleemarket, Rembrandthouse.
Metro nearby, trams towards Museum-area and other highlight atractions.
